God Saw Me

God, you created me and saw me for every good and perfect thing that I am.

You loved me so much that you sat me upon a throne of grace when I deserved despair.

You freed me from those things that held me captive and were not sent from you.

You embraced me and welcomed me home when I was loyal to things that took precedence over you.

Lord, YOU saw ME,

And I mattered to you!

Even when I thought you'd abandoned me.

Now as I ride the waves of the highs and lows of life,

I see that sometimes I have to be submerged beneath the current in order to emerge swimming.

I take refuge in you Lord.

In your GRACE, I find STABILITY.

In your MERCY, I find OPPORTUNITY.

In your FAVOR, I find GRATITUDE.

In your KINDNESS and COMFORT, I find PEACE.

In YOU, I am EVERYTHING that I ever hoped and prayed to be.
